We have brought a new two-tone injection technology into our factory. It gives rise to a new generation of professional footwear: just as comfortable, just as lightweight and, for the first time, in two colours.
Innovation born in our factory
At Feliz Caminar, we have been designing and manufacturing professional footwear in Spain for many years. Our R&D&I department works from a simple idea: anyone who spends the day on their feet deserves footwear that makes it easier. DUO is the next step in that work. We have invested in new technology to achieve something that, until now, wasn’t possible with our EVA clogs.
A new machine, a new process
To make DUO, we have brought in a two-tone injection machine. Until now, an EVA clog injected as a single piece could only come in one colour. The new machine injects two colours of EVA in the same moulding cycle, so each part of the clog has its own colour: for example, the upper in a light tone and the sole and strap in contrast. The clog comes out of the mould as a single piece, with no gluing or joins between colours.
